How does art therapy help with trauma?Art therapy offers a non-verbal and creative way to process traumatic experiences. Instead of only talking, people can express difficult emotions through drawing, painting, or sculpting. This can reduce anxiety, help people feel safer, and support healing by making internal experiences visible and manageable. It works especially well for those who find it hard to talk about their trauma.
